I provide coaching in the South West of England for both adults and junior players of all sexes.

Poisoniveydarts coaching is dedicated to helping you achieve success in darts.

Certified as a Professional Darts Player Association PDPA level one darts coach.

I'm also a Sightright coach and a JDC level two qualified darts coach.
With over ten years experience, I am probably one of the most highly qualified darts coaches in Britain.

What do I offer?

I offer 1 to 1 coaching, group coaching and competition coaching services.

I also offer online coaching from the comfort of your own home.

Group coaching can be your team, your friends or just like minded players, between 2 & 10 Players.

Online coaching offers you the opportunity to receive top quality coaching wherever you live. 

Not looking for Coaching but would like some throw analysis and advice. Simply send me your videos.

Who am I?

My name is Brian Ivey I have played darts since the age of 14, nicknamed 'Poisonivey', I have over 40 years of experience in playing darts, plus more than 10 years coaching darts. I helped in the creation of the JDC Level one qualification in darts coaching and was one of the first cohort to gain this and the level 2 certificate. In February 2024 I became one of the first six coaches to become acredited as a Sightright Coach. In 2025 I became one of the first 15 people to gain the PDPA level one darts coaching certificate.

What is the cost?

The cost of my services vary and is dependent on the services requested.

As a parent, I like to keep junior prices low with costs starting from as little as £30 an hour.

Group sessions are a great way to reduce costs without losing the Quality.

What equipment do I need for online coaching?

There are various ways we can work online.

Basically, you will need a method of displaying the board and your throwing stance / position. Your online darts playing set up will be fine.

I work through several social media platforms. Facebook messenger, whatsapp, Teams, Viber, Facetime, you mention it we can use it.

You can use webcams, tablets, pc's. mobiles.
